Yeah so I guess they stuck a little to close to the source material & had Joker tied up for the police so they could use The Joker again. Even though Heath Ledger's dead he would want the show to go on. There will be another actor out there to play The Joker a lot of people said that this was better than the 89 movie but to me there equal neither tops the other I like both I liked Christian Bale Morgan Freeman was good as always I didn't know who Arron Echart was but d@** he did stand out for me Heath Ledger was very good I liked Gary Oldman Micheal Caine Maggie Gyllenhaal never seen her in a movie but I liked her more than Katie Holmes. Well acted well put together fun as füç* action film but don't let the comic book fanboys overrate it for you it's a fine movie with or without the hype.

I'm a huge Batman fan since the age of 7 and I'm 50 now! Usually I wait in anticipation for Batman to appear...but not this film! The Joker is who you can't wait for when you see this film. Heath captures and claims the role and NEVER will there be a greater performance by an actor as the Joker! Jack Nicholson be damned Heath is THE JOKER!

The Dark Knight, featuring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, is a wonderful film. Christopher Nolan has done a fantastic job in bringing this popular American icon to the big screen again. Heath Ledger gives a strong final performance as the twisted Joker and really makes him believable. The story is very strong with a griddy feel to it that really sets it off. The interaction between the characters is nearly flawless with a strong supporting cast. I was on the edge of my seat throughout.

'The Dark Knight' is the best Batman film to date! It is even better than its prequel 'Batman Begins'. This motion picture is much more than just a superhero flick due to the fact it seems very surreal: there are moments in it that bring ominous realism. The plot delivers a lot of suspense and never slows down. It has that go, go, go non-stop action, dramatic plot which never gets boring and keeps the viewer highly entertained throughout the whole movie. 'The Dark Knight' is a very well cast motion picture. The acting is very believable and wonderfully done by the entire cast. Christian Bale did another great performance as Batman: he is just perfect for that role. And Heath Ledger's Oscar-winning performance as the Joker was outstandingly powerful and unforgettable! No one could have surpassed his performance as the Joker. 'The Dark Knight' offers surprising special fx and a well done music (score). It offers a lot of mind-blowing action sequences that only further enhance the movie: keeping it well beyond entertaining. Director Christopher Nolan should have won a best director Oscar for this movie. 'The Dark Knight' was definately the best movie of 2008. If you are one of the very few who hasn't seen this film yet, then I highly recommend you buy it now! Just make sure you watch 'Batman Begins' first. It is also a must-own motion picture by the well respected director Christopher Nolan.
